Hybrid Grants & Compliance Manager - Strong, hands-on government grant experience and a demonstrated understanding of the compliance, accounting, and audit responsibilities that come with managing government-funded grants. Also need someone with a solid technical understanding of accounts receivable and deferred revenue balance sheet accounting as it relates to grants.
- Prepare and manage grant-related financial and programmatic reports, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and full compliance with funding requirements.
- Review grant agreements and monitor compliance with federal, state, local, and contractual regulations, coordinating corrective actions and follow-up activities as necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for grantors and external partners, overseeing grant submissions, reporting requirements, reimbursement requests, and compliance-related communications.
- Oversee grant accounting and financial administration, including reconciliations, supporting schedules, reimbursement requests, financial documentation, and grantor reporting requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, analyzing budget-to-actual results, reviewing variances, and recommending funding reallocations in accordance with grant parameters.
- Partner with development, finance, and program teams to support grant applications, budget development, renewals, reporting, and ongoing oversight of grant-funded programs.
- Provide guidance and oversight to staff involved in grant accounting and compliance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to funder requirements and internal controls.
- Conduct site visits and compliance reviews as needed, evaluating performance against grant objectives, documenting findings, and coordinating remediation plans for identified deficiencies.
- Lead grant-related audit activities, including internal, funder, and annual financial audits, and prepare required schedules, workpapers, supporting documentation, and Single Audit reporting as applicable.
- Develop and maintain grant management tools and processes, including tracking systems, compliance calendars, documentation standards, and operating procedures to improve efficiency and ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met.
